So, you believe that you can reduce all this to what you are capable of knowing, that all that went before you were wrong about everything, that there is nothing about this existence that cares about you and wether you contribute or not, that you are a uniquely gifted generation that has realized that it all means nothing.
Or alternatively you could notice that these questions have been asked for thousands of years and experience over time has indicated that it is way better to care and behave as if your actions matter, both to you, to those you meet and to all of existence. And then perhaps you could start to look at that history of thought, of action and of consequences and start to play your part.
Literally every single statement you implied was made by this post was not in any way mentioned.
This post does not say that it should be reduced to what we are capable of knowing or even that we know all that we are capable. It also doesn’t say that we ARE capable of knowing it all.
No where does it say that all who went before us were wrong about everything.
No where does it say that there is nothing about this existence that cares about us, other humans care, other animals care.
No where does it say that it all “means nothing”.
No where does it say our actions dont matter or that we have no responsibility.
It says its not all made for us. That we are not the center. It says its selfish to believe the entire universe was created for us. Its selfish to believe we are the ONLY ones who matter.
You made a lot of assumptions and pulled a lot of arguments out of thin air. You basically argued against what you wanted it to say rather than what it actually said.
All of which raises the question what are the implications of what is being said?
Refer to the second to last paragraph of my previous response.
